St Helens Dance Classes #Stayathomechallenge

Hello Parents, Carers and Participants

Thanks for all your support in 2019 and 2020, attending our St Helens Dance Classes and training sessions with your sons and daughters.

The covid 19 lockdown situation has meant, we can no longer deliver classes in the community. BUT we are now going online to deliver a range of classes and workshops for kids and adults to get involved in, so look out for our taster workshops soon. The first one will be Graffiti.

We are currently running our #Stayathomechallenge in St Helens on TikTok, Facebook and Twitter.

The aim of the challenge is for you and the kids to to learn, try and film our Break Dancing challenges and submit them to us during the week on TikTok, Facebook or Twitter.

The person who has progressed the most during the week, will WIN a £10.00 voucher of your choice. We have already given away Xbox, Primark and Roblux vouchers.

We aren’t looking for the best dancers, we are looking for the ones who have improved the most.

Start with the Easy and Beginners videos first!
You can find them on the social media platforms below or text me to join our parents whatsapp group.

UC Crew have completed our final Breaking workshop with the District Primary School, Newton-le-Willows being our last stop on our school workshop tour funded by the Community Foundation For Merseyside’s ‘Merseyside Investment Fund’.

UC Crew was able to deliver funded Break Dance and Parkour workshops in schools across St Helens, to give children and young people a chance to try a new activity, meet positive male role models and steer away from anti-social behaviour and gang culture.

Participants of school workshops where able to attend fortnightly classes and Breaking youth club on a Monday evening in Haydock for £1.00. This was to reduce the financial barrier of learning and give them a chance to take up Breaking as a hobby.
